What is "Return of the Light"?

​

Return of the Light is the Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative's first in-person fundraiser since Covid. Falling on June 23rd, 2022 it lands directly between the dates for Summer Solstice and Midsummer. Return of the Light represents both the literal return of the sun, and the figurative return of light - the gathering of community, friends, summer, optimism and hope. 

When does Return of the Light take place?

June 23, 2022. It is a Thursday evening event, from 5:00 - 9:00pm.

Where does this event take place?

​

This event will be held at the Summit Manor in St. Paul, Minnesota.

The address is 275 Summit Avenue.

What is the cost of the event?

​

Early bird ticket prices are $75 each. Standard tickets (after June 1st, 12AM) are $100 each. Tickets include dinner, drinks, and entertainment.

What is the parking situation?

​

Parking is free, onsite, street parking. There is no parking lot, and it is a residential area. Summit Manor assures us that there is ample street parking, and it should be a beautiful night to walk, regardless of where you park. 

Is Return of the Light indoors or outdoors?

​

This event is held at Summit Mannor - a beautiful mansion on historic Summit Avenue. The entire manor and grounds are ours for the duration of the night. You are welcome to explore all three floors of the mansion, as well as the yard and gardens. Dinner seating will be available indoors, on the expansive front porch, as well as in the surrounding yard.

What can I expect of the evening?

Anticipate a casual and fun program. The evening will be both indoors and out, and have the vibe of a open house / party. There will be scheduled entertainment throughout the event, and plenty of diversions, amusements, and conversations to be had. 

Is this event open to the public?

​

Yes! As long as there are tickets available, all are welcome. Please consider inviting family and friends. The more the merrier!

What is the fundraiser for?


All proceeds from this event will go directly to support the essential and important work of the Minnesota Network of Hospice & Palliative Care. MNHPC  is a non-profit organization devoted to the elevation of work and voices around compassionate and knowledgeable end-of-life care.

MNHPC provides education, resources, support, and conversation to our members. Our members include a vast variety of professionals and caregivers in the realms surrounding death and dying.

MNHPC provides information to the public and helps connect individuals and their loved ones with the care they need.
